Rev. Fred Young
Dr. Ray Edge
After working in the corporate world for a number of years, Fred Young felt God calling him to the ministry. He and his wife Jennifer moved from Tennessee to Decatur, GA, so he could study at Columbia Theological Seminary. He graduated with his MDiv degree in May 2015 and came to Timberridge in June 2015. They have two sons, Preston & Parker.
Fred has a heart for preaching God's Word and ministering to His people, one-on-one and through church or community activities. We are blessed to call him our pastor at Timberridge.
Ray Edge joined Timberridge as Music Director in 2003, with 30 years of experience in music, youth, and senior adult ministry. He has served as organist for the World Methodist Evangelism Conference at Emory University; has adjudicated vocal competitions; and, has directed numerous church and community choirs. Ray holds music degrees from Georgia Southwestern State University and Brewton-Parker College where he now sings in the Alumni Choir; and, the Juris Doctor degree from Atlanta Law School. He speaks Spanish and is active in missions to Mexico and Peru, working with orphanages and the homeless.
